The long term mission of the Program is to create an incubation network in symbiosis with several large cities (Budapest, Debrecen, Győr and Kecskemét), based on the potential of local universities, using the entrepreneurial knowledge that stacked up in Central Hungary, and previously established international partnerships.

In our program acceleration means a „business boosting” methodology, that supports the establishment of startups based on innovative projects born at local universities and connects them to the market.

The goal of the Startup Campus Program is to establish an „innovation and startup revealing system” that can help utilizing the underused innovation competences of Hungarian university students and researchers and support the business they build of their R&D projects.

Get in the Ring! Budapet – Extended application deadline!

With the support of National Research, Development and Innovation Office Enterprise Hungary extends the application deadline for Get in the Ring! international startup competition.

Startups with a validated business model can apply for the event until 30th October 2016. The winner of the competition will get a 200.000 euro investment and can join the Get in the Ring! global finals.

Before the competition in Budapest, business idea competitons will be held in Győr and in Debrecen on 10th and 17th November. The winners of the competitions in Győr and Debrecen will  automatically qualify for the top 16 teams of Get in the Ring! Budapest!

Date of the competition: 24th November 2016.

Get in the Ring! (GITR) is the world’s most popular international startup competition, which is implemented within the framework of a unique show to  fight for investors. The concept of GITR differs from traditional pitch competitions. The representatives of 8 startup teams can qualify for the regional final and enter the ring. Similar to boxing matches, the teams have 5 rounds to convince the jury that their business offers the most promising investment opportunity.
